Now

Anchor 1

Now at the end of the growing season, I am enjoying every day of the plots and the flowers still blooming. Growth has slowed so it's much easier to get on with tasks though I have noticed nettles are still growing rapidly!

This summer I taught a 6 week introduction to Floriculture at Capel Manor's Organic Forty Hall Farm, London’s environmental college. We've written a 3 year course which is being finalised with the foundation course starting in the spring. This is so exciting. To my knowledge, this will be the first of its kind, growing cut flowers naturally (chemical free), harvesting and arranging with reusable sustainable mechanics in adults education.

There are several garden design projects across Suffolk, Essex and Cambridge including the visitor centre garden at the David Parr House. They are all projects where mature spaces are being renovated with planting that is resilient to the climate crisis, providing much biodiversity and often food too with reduced maintenance coupled with high beauty!

Floral Notes continues to be added to weekly- a complete newsletter with growing advice and deep dives growing cut flowers and regenerative growing. I now have a Floral Index with a library of three years of information with a complete planning course. It's all you need!

I went to Iceland last weekend. It was better than I expect and can't stop thinking about the warm thermal pools and waterfalls. It's inspired me a lot.
