Farewell Flowers

A life celebration is a deeply significant event with much meaning. I am always honoured to be asked to create floral tributes for funerals and memorials.

I particularly like to create  biodegradable arrangements from woven branch bases, using sustainably sourced moss and locally-grown, chemical-free seasonal flowers and foliage. Often using symbolism or special flowers and plants. Clients will leave bags of foliage from gardens on my doorstep and I've even had special stems posted from Scotland.

Book a 'Quick Call' giving details about the celebration, what you'd like and budgets. Or email me with these details directly.

Our arrangements are created on simple grids or wreathes of branches, tied with twine and using sustainably-sourced moss. We push stems into this moss (which also acts as a water reservoir) to create the shape. We can also make a hand-tied piece to lay on the coffin as part of the service and / or vase arrangements. All this work is entirely biodegradable.

You can read a little more about  funeral tributes over on my blog.

“Thank you again for your help at such a difficult time, you have made the impossible to do very possible.”
“Just wanted to thank you for the beautiful arrangement. We all loved the autumnal colours and the artistic mix of autumn foliage, berries and flowers.
I was also grateful to be able to give you a rough idea of what I liked and then leave the rest to you.
Thank you Anna for your care and attention.”
“Thank you very much for the flowers. They were really beautiful - exactly what I wanted. My mum would have loved them.”
