Seed Sowing Class

Join Anna online for a one hour online class sowing Annuals. Order ahead to receve a sowing pack so you can sow along with Anna during the class making the perfect Mother's Day gift! The sowing pack will include 3 sets of hardy annual flower seed, sweet pea seed, grow tubes and vermiculite for sowing onto for the session.  A greenhouse or cold frame is great but not necessary to join this class and grow flowers this summer! You will need 3x 9cm pots, seed trays (or shallow plastic veg trays, plastic food bags or clear plastic food lids) plus a larger pot and compost. The pack will include instructions of what to gather together, where you can get items from and how to set yourself up for the session.  Anna will demonstrate how to sow your seeds, explain propagation here on the plots and how you can best sow at home for flowering success this summer.  The demo will cover seed sowing, germination, what the different types of seed are, how to prick out, transplant and grow on.  There will be time for questions at the end of the session. The class will also be recorded so if you can't make it, you can watch and enjoy the demo in your own time together with a 'Seed Sowing Guide' sent by email to all participants.
